Making Snowflake-based enterprise data products consistent, governed, and usable
The problem Internal users — from analysts to engineers — needed access to consistent, governed, high-quality data to make decisions. Instead, the organisation relied on fragmented legacy systems (SQL Server, SAS) and manual external reporting.
My role Product Manager for Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) under TDCNET's Robust Data & AI Foundation pillar.
What I did
- Defined and delivered scalable data products aligned with strategic goals across Finance, Operations, and Network Engineering.
- Drove adoption of Caspian, TDCNET's Snowflake-based platform, across internal user groups.
- Led migration off legacy systems, reducing reliance on manual external report generation.
- Co-developed the data product roadmap with Data & AI leadership, and represented data users in cross-functional teams to keep delivery aligned with real business needs.
Result A more centralised, governed data platform with clear KPIs — data volume accessed, active users, report turnaround time — replacing ad hoc legacy reporting and accelerating decision-making.
